These terms govern your use of fortwaltonlocksmith.com (the "Site") and the locksmith services provided by Fort Walton Locksmith ("we," "us"). By using the Site or requesting service, you agree to these terms.
1. Services
We provide mobile locksmith and related security services — including lockout assistance, rekeying, lock installation, key cutting and programming, access control, camera installation, garage door opener service, and safe service — in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and surrounding Emerald Coast communities. All services are performed at the customer's location by appointment or on an emergency basis, subject to availability.
2. Proof of Authorization
Before opening, rekeying, or making keys for any property, vehicle, or container, we require reasonable proof that the person requesting service is authorized — for example, government-issued identification matching the property address, a vehicle registration or title, a lease, or written authorization from the owner. We may decline any job where authorization cannot be reasonably established. This requirement exists to protect property owners and is not negotiable.
3. Quotes & Payment
Service pricing depends on the nature of the job, parts required, distance, and time of day; a quote will be discussed by phone before work begins and confirmed on site before work proceeds. If on-site conditions differ materially from what was described, we will explain any change before continuing. Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed.
4. Estimates of Arrival Time
Response-time estimates are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. Traffic (including seasonal Highway 98 traffic), weather, and concurrent emergency calls can affect arrival times.
5. Workmanship
We stand behind our workmanship. If a lock or device we installed or serviced fails to function properly due to our work, contact us promptly and we will make it right. This does not cover damage from misuse, weather and salt-air corrosion over time, subsequent tampering, or defects in customer-supplied hardware. Manufacturer warranties on parts and devices are those of the respective manufacturers.
6. Limitations of Liability
Some jobs carry inherent risk that is disclosed before work begins — for example, opening a damaged lock, extracting a broken key, or servicing aged or corroded hardware may require destructive entry or reveal pre-existing damage. Where a destructive method is the only option, we obtain your consent first. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the service giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
7. Website Content
Content on the Site is provided for general information about our services and about locks, keys, and security topics. It is not professional advice for your specific situation, and security decisions should account for your particular property and circumstances. We make reasonable efforts to keep content accurate but do not warrant that every detail (such as manufacturer specifications) is current at all times.
8. Acceptable Use of the Site
You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt to disrupt it, or scrape or republish its content without permission. All Site content, including text and design, belongs to us and may not be copied for commercial use.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute arising from services performed will be handled in the courts of the county where the service was performed.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be posted on this page with its revision date. Continued use of the Site or our services after a change constitutes acceptance.
