What We Are
Fort Walton Locksmith is a mobile locksmith operation serving Fort Walton Beach and the surrounding Emerald Coast — from Pensacola in the west, up through Crestview, and east along Highway 98 through Destin and the 30A beach towns to Panama City Beach. There's no storefront to drive to, because the whole point is that you shouldn't have to drive anywhere with no keys. The truck carries the key blanks, lock hardware, programming equipment, and tools to finish most jobs in one visit, at your location.
What We Do
- Emergency lockouts — homes, businesses, and vehicles, around the clock.
- Rekeying and lock changes — after a move, a lost key ring, or a tenant turnover.
- Car keys and fobs — transponder keys cut and programmed on site, plus ignition repair.
- Smart locks and access control — keypads, key card systems, and phone-controlled entry for homes, rentals, and commercial buildings.
- Security cameras — doorbell cameras through full wired systems, installed and configured.
- Garage door openers — installs, repairs, keypads, and remotes.
- Safes — lockouts, combination changes, and lock service.
- Specialty keys — including golf cart keys and motorcycle keys, two calls this coast generates constantly and most locksmiths turn away.

How We Work
We answer the phone 24/7, because lockouts don't schedule themselves. When you call, a real conversation happens: what's the problem, where are you, what will it take, and how soon can we be there. You'll know what the job involves before anyone drives anywhere. If something isn't a locksmith problem — a dead battery pretending to be a key problem, a door issue that needs a carpenter — we say so instead of billing you to find out.
This area has its own rhythms and we work with them. Peak rental season means vacation lockouts and lost cart keys along 30A. PCS season around Eglin and Hurlburt means move-in rekeys. Storm season means doors and hardware that suddenly won't behave. It's the same coast every year, and we plan the truck stock around it.
What We Won't Do
No bait-and-switch quoting — the price discussed on the phone is the basis for the job, not an opening bid that triples on arrival. That practice is common in this industry, it has burned plenty of people locally, and it's the single biggest reason to ask direct questions before you hand anyone your locks. Ask us anything; direct answers are the whole pitch.
